Once per turn, when a friendly unit within the bearer's Command range is targeted by a Magic Missile or Hex, the bearer may make a Leadership test. If the test is passed, the bearer may choose to redirect the spell onto themselves rather than the original target, even if they are out of range or would not normally be an eligible target. The spell is then resolved with the bearer of the Amulet as its target.
